Sherrie Cowley is a seasoned cybersecurity and technology leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning software engineering, identity and access management, and enterprise cybersecurity. She has held engineering and leadership roles at organizations including Clyde Companies, 3M, FranklinCovey, Adobe, the LDS Church, and Swire Coca-Cola. Additionally, Sherrie has led global teams responsible for securing complex environments across industries.
In her leadership roles, Sherrie Cowley has overseen cybersecurity operations supporting thousands of healthcare organizations worldwide, including U.S. Department of Defense and Veterans hospitals. Her teams have driven critical functions such as threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud and database security, and penetration testing, helping protect sensitive data at scale.
Beyond her professional work, Sherrie Cowley is deeply committed to community impact and advancing diversity in technology. She is a founding member of Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) for Utah, serves in InfraGard supporting collaboration with the FBI, and regularly speaks at conferences and universities. She has also been recognized for her leadership and contribution to the tech community, including receiving the Women Tech Council Cybersecurity Leadership Award.
